q. What do you think of fake eyelashes?  a. I think they're great for special occasions. They just haven't worked out for me when I tried using them for a performance because the glue burned my eyes.
q. Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?  a. duh...
q. What brand of mascara do you use?  a. Origins
q. Sephora or MAC?  a. well I've never bought from MAC so Sephora.
q. Do ou have a MAC Pro-card?  a. haha no
q. What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?  a. A kabuki brush and concealer brush.
q. Do you use makeup base/primer for eyes?  a. well I'm fourteen and don't wear eye shadow on a regular so no.
q. What is your favorite eye shadow?  a. I like Naked 2 pallet.
q. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?  a. neither. But when I do it's eye shadow with an eyeliner brush.
q. Do you use mineral makeup?  a. yes, I use all bareminreals.
q. What is your favorite lipstick?  a. I like Stila lip glazes.
q. What is your favorite brush to use?  a. I guess my kabuki
q. Do you buy your makeup on eBay? a. nope.
q. Do you like drugstore makeup? a. It depends on the brand and makeup. But yes.
q. Did you ever consider taking makeup classes?  a. I'll have to pray about it, but it is an interest.
q. Are you clumsy in putting makeup on?  a. not that I know of!
q. Name a makeup crime that you hate. a. caky foundation and thick zig-zagged liquid eyeliner.
q. Do you like colorful shades of makeup or natural ones?  a. Defiantly natural.

Friday Fashion: Advice

    Hello fashionistas! It's finally summer for me and I'm really excited to share new posts with you! Since it's my favorite day of the week, Friday, or as I like to call it Fashion Friday, I want to share some of my personal fashion tips and advice! You can comment questions wether they be fashion related or not and I'll answer them. Hope my advice helps:)

• Match your belt with your shoes, you'll be surprised at what a difference it makes!
• Don't be trendy, be you! You'll never look your best unless you look like you, so only wear what you are comfortable with and what fits your style.
• Sparkle a little. Jewelry is one of my favorite things. If you like sparkle, don't be afraid to wear big earrings, necklaces and rings;)
• The best outfits come when you don't put much effort into them. Don't try too hard or worry about what you are going to wear, just wear what looks best to you. 
• Keep an eye on celebrity fashion, trends, and big designer clothing lines.
• Be confident in what you wear. When you feel confident, you show confidence.

Handling a Tough Choice

     I recently took notes on a sermon by Dr. Stephen Rummage on "Making Choices" when He came and spoke to our youth group Wednesday. During the sermon, he gave us five principles on making choices and a question to ask ourselves about our decision before it being made. These principles and questions are really relatable and easy to follow along with when making a decision.

How to Make the Best Choices When the Bible Does Not Give a Specific Answer:

1 Principle- Control 1Corinthians 6:12
Will my choice control me?

2 Principle- Ownership 1Corinthians 6:19
Will my choice hurt my body which is God's Temple?

3 Principle- Example 1Corinthians 8:13
Will my choice encourage other Christians?

4 Principle- Witness 1Corinthians 9:19
Will my choice help me win others to Jesus?

5 Principle- Worship
Will my choice bring glory to God?

Best Friend Gift Ideas

     It's always birthday season, and besides your own birthday, your best friends is the next best! Gift cards are never that personal, so incase you wanted some other ideas, here are some of my own.

• Beauty Products; hair accessories, makeup, nail polish, etc.
• Accessories; scarf, shoes, bags/purses.
• Phone Case; a cute one that suits your friend's style or a matching one with your own.
• Games; bored games or something fun you and your friend could do at your next sleepover.
• Clothes; a cute top or (and) skirt.
• Movies; a movie you and your friend have been talking about or want to see.
• A Penny Board or Skateboard.

Skincare Tips

    Summer is a good time to focus on skin's heath. During the summer, a lot of skin is exposed. Here are some skin care tips of my own!

• Avoid contact with your face.
• Wash your face twice a day with a facial cleanser.
• Be careful what kind of sunscreen you use. Make sure it's not too oily and be sure it agrees and suits you skin type.
• Moisturize your skin to keep it smooth. (Make sure you use a moisturizer with sunscreen.)
• Avoid long exposer to the sun.
• Remove makeup or products from face before going to sleep.
• Daily bathing is very important!
• Be careful what products you use on your skin. Some products will irritate skin or be too strong.

What Is Holy Week

     This week is one of the most historical weeks of History! Do you know why? Throughout this week Jesus prepares to be crucified on the cross and resurrect the third day of death. Throughout His preparation, He shares truth and teaches His disciples. I am going to tell you about what Jesus has done throught this week now! We call this week Holy Week (you can learn about all this in John chapter 13):

Day 1- Palm Sunday
This is the day that Jesus entered Jerusalem; the place He would be crucified. People put out palms of Jesus to walk on and cried to Him "Hosanna."

Day 2- Maunday Thursday
This is the day Jesus gave a new commandment to His disciples. It was "Love one another as I have loved You." He demonstrated this command by washing His disciples feet. Today, Judas (one of Jesus' disciples) betrayed Jesus. Today Peter also denies Jesus by claiming He does not know Him or walk with Him.

Day 3- Good Friday
This is the day Jesus dies on the cross. (The people who were crying "Hosanna" to Jesus on Sunday, were also screaming "crucify Him!" this day.)

Day 4- Holy Saturday
This is the full day that Jesus is in the grave.

Day 5- Resurrection Sunday (Easter)
This is the day Jesus rose from the grave! Happy Easter!
