Handling a Tough Choice

     I recently took notes on a sermon by Dr. Stephen Rummage on "Making Choices" when He came and spoke to our youth group Wednesday. During the sermon, he gave us five principles on making choices and a question to ask ourselves about our decision before it being made. These principles and questions are really relatable and easy to follow along with when making a decision.

How to Make the Best Choices When the Bible Does Not Give a Specific Answer:

1 Principle- Control 1Corinthians 6:12
Will my choice control me?

2 Principle- Ownership 1Corinthians 6:19
Will my choice hurt my body which is God's Temple?

3 Principle- Example 1Corinthians 8:13
Will my choice encourage other Christians?

4 Principle- Witness 1Corinthians 9:19
Will my choice help me win others to Jesus?

5 Principle- Worship
Will my choice bring glory to God?

Best Friend Gift Ideas

     It's always birthday season, and besides your own birthday, your best friends is the next best! Gift cards are never that personal, so incase you wanted some other ideas, here are some of my own.

  • Beauty Products; hair accessories, makeup, nail polish, etc.
  • Accessories; scarf, shoes, bags/purses.
  • Phone Case; a cute one that suits your friend's style or a matching one with your own.
  • Games; bored games or something fun you and your friend could do at your next sleepover.
  • Clothes; a cute top or (and) skirt.
  • Movies; a movie you and your friend have been talking about or want to see.
  • A Penny Board or Skateboard.

Skincare Tips

    Summer is a good time to focus on skin's heath. During the summer, a lot of skin is exposed. Here are some skin care tips of my own!


  • Avoid contact with your face.
  • Wash your face twice a day with a facial cleanser.
  • Be careful what kind of sunscreen you use. Make sure it's not too oily and be sure it agrees and suits you skin type.
  • Moisturize your skin to keep it smooth. (Make sure you use a moisturizer with sunscreen.)
  • Avoid long exposer to the sun.
  • Remove makeup or products from face before going to sleep.
  • Daily bathing is very important!
  • Be careful what products you use on your skin. Some products will irritate skin or be too strong.
